overconfident

To have a lot of confident in sth or sb

I was so sure of passing that I wasn’t going to study, but Dad advised me not to be overconfident.

overestimate

to think something is better, more important etc than it really is

Joe overestimated the capacity of the bus. He thought it could hold 60; it has room for only 48.

overgenerous

To be really generous

Because the service was poor, Gina thought I was overgenerous in leaving a 15% tip.

overshadow

to make someone or something else seem less important

Gary’s errors in the field overshadowed his good work at the plate.

overwhelm

if someone is overwhelmed by an emotion, they feel it so strongly that they cannot think clearly

The security guards were nearly overwhelmed by the crowds of shoppers waiting for the sale to begin.

unabridged

a piece of writing,speechetc that is unabridged is in its full form and has not been made shorter
