How to describe a Process?
برای نوشتن ترتیب یک پروسه از عبارات زیر می توانیم استفاده کنیم. این کلمات و یا عبارات را حفظ کنید چرا که اگر در آزمون آیلتس یک شکل را بخواهید توصیف کنید حتما این کلمات مورد استفاده قرار خواهد گرفت.

برای توصیف قدم دوم تا یکی مانده به آخر می توان از این کلمات و عبارات استفاده کرد. شما باید حداقل چهار عبارت را از این قسمت به صورت کاربردی حفظ باشید در غیر این صورت مجبور خواهید بود از یک کلمه به صورت مکرر استفاده کنید و این موضوع یعنی از دست دادن نمره در آزمون آیلتس.

Describing stages in a process:
1 Start at the beginning. Use words that clearly show the stages (e.g. firstly, at the first stage, after that, next, following this, finally).
2 Use the present simple tense.
3 Use the 'active' when someone or something does the action (e.g. the moth lays its eggs).
4 Use the 'passive' when it is not important to say who or what does the action (e.g. the silk cloth is dyed).
Here are some example sentences for the life cycle of the silkworm and the process of producing silk cloth:
- The life cycle of the silkworm begins when the moth lays its eggs.
- After 10 days the silkworm larva is born, and 4 to 6 weeks later the larva produces silk thread.
- At the first stage in the production of silk cloth the cocoon is boiled in water.
- Next, the silk thread is unwound and twisted.
- It is then dyed, to give it colour, or woven to make cloth and then dyed.
Advice: you can avoid difficult passive verbs like 'unwound' or 'woven' by writing 'it is then possible to unwind' or 'the thread is then ready for weaving'.
